Okay, so I've not been in a far away galaxy (unless you count what goes on in my head), BUT it's been a long time since I've updated this silly blog. I guess since we live around our family and friends again, I don't see the need to do this blog anymore. BUT, a few family members (you know who you are) keep asking me to update this, so here it goes.......
These pics are bit out of order, and I apologize, but does it really matter?? Nope. Anyway, this first picture is us playing "Guess Who" as a family. Isaac gets really into it, for about 5 minutes, then he wants to watch me and Chris play. His favorite part is flipping the people down, even if they're not supposed to be flipped down. Oh!... and he also likes to take the game completely apart.... all the yellow holders off and all the pictures out of the yellow holders. Yay for us. I'll admit, it's pretty fun to play it with him!
Here's Isaac and his cousin Audrey over at my mom's house, during one of the big snow falls we had. They both went sledding over and over and over down the hill at the side of the house, by themselves! (sigh... they're growing up).
Me and Kate, at the reception hall for a wedding cake we delivered, at the beginning of January. The cake design was far from traditional, but it turned out to be very beautiful. Since that cake, I've stepped away from the cake business, and Kate's keeping it going by herself. I decided I needed something less stressful and less messy. I'll still help her out every once in a while, and for sure on the wedding cakes we have set up for later this year.
This next image is to show you what I decided to do with my time in replacement of doing cakes. I've started a little online shop, called Blackberry Graphics (http://www.blackberrygraphics.etsy.com) where I sell handmade magnets and printable digital graphics. The magnets are my main focus, and they're a lot of fun. All the designs are my own, meaning I design the graphics on my computer, print them, cut them out, and glue them onto the glass bead and magnet backing. I'm selling 6 for $5.00. Check out my site!!
Something new we've discovered to do with Isaac is going to the library. We'll spend some time looking at books and then we'll pick out a few movies to rent.
